"If it is Mentionable...it is Manageable".
Oscar winning film and best actor worthy.
I'm a product of the 60's ...today mothers sit their children in front of tablets and computers...My Mom plopped my butt in front of Mr. Rodgers.
Tom Hanks depiction of Fred Rodgers was over whelming for me. I was filled with memories of the lessons I learned from him over and over through the film. The cinematography was amazing as they zoomed in on his loving giving eyes of truth and artful incense.
The reporter who was given a job he thought was unworthy...took a total change of life as Fred Rodgers led him through his misgivings, appreciating his family and realizing that life is a wonder of miracles we just need to open our eyes to.
Sometime I do reviews and they go on...I'm a wee bit wordy...but this one is a must see... All the credits to the amazing actors and telling a true story of a man who changed lives forever.
Fred Rodgers: Tom Hanks
Leading man reporter: Matthew Rhys
Mrs. Rodgers: Maryanne Plunkett
And a cast of many who made this film a winner!
