Some Day
The Sun Shined Bright
On A Clear And Warm Day
You Walked By My Side
With Nothing To Say
The Mood Was Quite Clear
A Thought, A Smile, A Tear.
You Never Did Leave
You’ve Always Been Here
A Friend To The End
Through All Of Love And Fear
What More Could I Ask Of You
Than Consider Us One, Not Two.
You Laid In My Arms
When I needed You Most Of All
With Eyes Full OF Love
And A Story So Tall
But You Never Gave In
Instead Lifted My Chin
And Listened To Each Word
From Beginning To End.
I Remember Like Yesterday
We Played In The Park
I threw You A Ball
You Came To My Every Call
If There Is But One Thing I Ask
Let It Be Said
That This Was My Friend
Through Thick And Through Thin
Always There When I Cried
And There When I Laughed
Unconditional From Day Start
To Day End.
For You See This Was Different
Than Most Of My Friends
I’ll Never Forget You
Until My Final Day Ends
You Live In My Memory
With Each Breath I Take
And Some Day Look Forward
To Our Walk Once Again.

A Dog's Soul
Every dog must have a soul
Somewhere deep inside
Where all his hurts and grievances
Are buried with his pride.
Where he decides the good and bad,
The wrong way from the right,
And where his judgment carefully
Is hidden from our sight.
A dog must have a secret place
Where every thought abides,
A sort of close acquaintance that
He trusts in and confides.
And when accused unjustly for
Himself, He cannot speak,
Rebuked, He finds within his soul
The comfort he must seek.
He'll love, tho he is unloved,
And he'll serve tho badly used,
And one kind word will wipe away
The times when he's abused.
Altho his heart may break in two
His love will still be whole,
Because God gave to every dog
An understanding Soul!

Lessons learned from Noah's Ark
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark... One: Don't miss the boat. Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat. Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark. Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big. Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. Six: Build your future on high ground. Seven: For safety's sake, travel in pairs. Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs. Nine: When you're stressed, float a while. Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting. NOW, wasn't that nice? Pass it along and make someone else smile, too.
Golden Retriever Joke:
A man walks into a bar. After buying a beer he looks around and sees three men and a Golden Retriever sitting at a card table. Amazed, the man wanders over to watch the game. The cards were dealt, and to his amazement the Golden Retriever was dealt in and he never missed a move. The man leans over to one of the other players and whispers "Wow, that's a really smart dog!". The man grins and whispers back, "Not really, every time he gets a good hand, his tail wags like mad."
