DreamWorks and Radar Pictures present an R rated film directed by the Farrelly Brothers with a running time of approximately 110 minutes.  Starring Ben Stiller (Eddie Cantrow), Michelle Monaghan (Miranda), Jerry Stiller (Doc), Malin Akerman (Lila), Carlos Mencia (Uncle Tito), Rob Corddry (Mac), Stephanie Courtney (Gayla), Ali Hillis (Jodi) with Kathy Lamkin (Lila's Mom), Joel Bryant (Michael), Lauren Bowles (Tammy), Roy Jenkins (Buzz), Michael & Nicholas Kromka (Twins), Danny R. McBride (Martin), Amy Sloan (Deborah), Johnny Sneed (Cal) and a guest appearance by Eva Langoria.

This hardcore romantic comedy with a twist of drama is a bit heavy on the humor and light on the romance but sure to make quite a bit of money at the box office.  A mixture of the "Wedding Crashers" meets "There's Something about Mary" this film is sure to have theatre audiences talking for a while about the crude antics, perverse language, sexual scenes and reasons for divorce.  This may not be the perfect date movie especially if you and your loved one are just starting to explore your own traits and personalities.  Than again this might just be the wake up call you're looking for!  There are definite lessons to be learned while watching this film.  Mainly never try to run before you can walk and always take a step back and view the whole picture rather than just a minor snippet.

Eddie a single male who owns Bay City Sports in San Francisco is on a search for love in all the wrong places.  That would include listening to best friends, fathers and of course his Johnson!  After attending the wedding of his ex-fiancé, sitting at the kids table since he is the only single guy there besides the ones that have not reached puberty, putting up with the homophobic hobbits about his sexuality, Eddie finally meets someone.  Where better to do that than on the streets of San Francisco.  Things don't always appear as they seem when he meets Lila, well let's just say dating a Cameron Diaz knock off environmental researcher is not all it's cracked up to be, let alone marrying her after just a few weeks.

Eddie takes the plunge due to pressure from his peers and quickly starts to find out that a daughter like mother, karaoke crazy, deviated septum peeing gas filled hot blonde chick is not always what life had planned for his future.  While on their honeymoon in Cabo, Eddie discovers what hell is like and that sometimes the sand on the other beach is really a bit cooler.  He realizes even more that he needs to have that special talk with his new wife in order to pursue his very new love interest, Miranda.  Drinks, the devils lettuce and alien cows seem to bring out the best in a conversation especially with a cute brunette from Oxford, Mississippi who is in Mexico with her redneck family.  Let's just say when in Mexico beware of the traditional Mexican folk dancing.

White lies and misconceptions lead to a bit of drama right down to the mourning process and the man of war that's sure to leave a visual impression of the symbol of love, the ring, on your minds for a very long and hairy time.  This film is extremely well acted by all the characters that are handed some hysterical lines filled with brilliant writing all in step to a phenomenal score.  Love for Eddie is not always in the air when the truth comes to surface, rather six months of cohabitating with illegal immigrants trying desperately to cross the boarder any way he can to stalk the one woman that stole his heart.

Once in the states, Eddie discovers that life goes on and that looking back does not always give you that final shot in life.  Or does it?  Sometimes special appearances are not always the best ending!  Time does heal all wounds and has a way of making things work out in the end especially for some after taking up the native tradition of Mexican dance.  Remember to hang out during the credits.  Anyone got a cigarette?
