Alyssa will be 11 years old in July, 2003, and has been performing (publicly)
since a friend saw her sing a contemporary praise song at a church in Indian
Head, MD, when she was only 4!
Alyssa was born in Tampa, FL, and also lived in Whidbey Is., WA, and Marbury,
MD, before residing in Burbank, CA. Since that time, she has performed at many
churches, hospitals, county fairs, fund-raisers, and other events, including a
funeral. Alyssa has won many talent competitions the last few years, singing and
dancing.
When Alyssa was eight, she performed for "McDonalds Presents Showtime at the
Apollo Kids" as a National Winner and was one of the finalists for 2000-01. She
sang "Respect" while dancing her own routine and entertaining the audience,
after entertaining the cast and crew all day! On Sunday (later that week in NY),
she had the opportunity to dance (Jazz) with Luigi, and performed for his class,
singing "Respect" and "I Believe"
–Luigi told her that she was his great-great-great-granddaughter!
